How Moms Can Burst Into A Home Business
By Wendy Shepherd .com
May 18, 2007, 21:32

What can a mom do when cash is short and there are items she needs for her children? Many mothers sometimes find themselves at garage sales picking up a few items they need for an affordable price rather than buying something at the new retail price.

As a mother, I did precisely that when my kids were young. It was a good way to fill time when my little ones were bored stiff. Dad was usually working, so we loaded up early on Fridays and/or Saturdays and went looking for items that we may need and some other neat treasures.

I didn't realize at the time that I would vary this pastime into a work at home business that brought in a little bit of money to help afford more diapers, educational books, and toys for my little boys.

It started quite naively. I really didn't want to set up and run a big yard sale at my home to clear out some of the small cloth diapers, baby books, etc. that we had acquired which were outgrown by my babies. I decided to take steps to try to sell them online.

In the beginning, I started by placing up items on auctions and message forums. I allowed people to send checks via regular mail to start with, and then I learned how to set up a means of accepting electronic payments. I learned more from that point. At the same time, I was managing a couple of small websites on free hosting servers.

I have been asked many questions by people who are timid about starting selling online as I did. Therefore, I decided to create an electronically delivered digital ebook, which will give the guidelines and information to help anybody get started. You will discover more than I did when I began in my early days by reading it all in this e-book. I have included most of what I know, which ought to help save you time and money.

Get an attitude; know that if I was able to do it, you can too! Make some additional entertainment money or a work at home business in resale mode.
